Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray spring form or round cake pan with cooking spray, and dust with flour. Tap slightly to remove excess flour.
- Peel and cut apple in to medium sized cubes, place in water with 1 Tbsp of Lemon juice.
- Combine cinnamon and 1/3 of the sugar, place drained apples in mixture and toss.
- Combine remaining dry ingredients together, and separately combine all wet ingredients.
- Mix in apples and sugar to the wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry.
- Mix batter until it just comes together.
- Pour mixture into cake pan and bake for 75 minutes or if tooth pick comes out clean.
- Let stand on baking rack to cool.
- Serve with whipped topping.
