Food safety tips:
- Wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
- Clean all countertops and equipment used for food preparation.
- Gently rinse all produce under cool running water.
- Use separate equipment for handling raw food and cooked food.
- Do not eat raw dough or batter as it may contain bacteria that could cause you to become sick.
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 10″ cake pan with parchment.
- Beat the butter and sugar together.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix.
- Alternate adding the sifted dry ingredients and yogurt.
- Spread half of the batter in a cake pan.
- Arrange cranberries on top and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Spread the remaining batter over top.
- Arrange apple slices and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until well baked.
